Fresh Produce Now at the Farmer's Markets!

Your chance to enjoy fresh produce directly from the farm is taking place each week in Mitchell County! The Farmer's Market is held in Bakersville every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon across from the post office. Spruce Pine's Farmer's Market is held each Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Upper Street at Wildflower's. At both markets, you will have the chance to choose from in-season produce and other farm products at their peak of freshness..

You deal directly with the farmer: no middle-man is involved. Many items for sale are harvested just hours before they are put on sale. You can't get much fresher than that!
